Driving west on I10 in Louisiana every gas station it seemed had a casino attached to it. I stopped at one put my few paltry dollars in and LOST THEM.

Coffee Fusion was a great spot to hangout listen to music and free wifi. Rick and Jackpot came over everyday, Rick and his wife have been camping for several years. I met another camper named Robert from Canada who spends the better part of his year camping in his Volkswagen camper bus. And who will feed the stray cats I have been feeding. I was very close to Biloxi and went in town one day, there's a lot of new gambling spots and it looks like a Margarettiville casino will be coming soon. Oh well Texas here I come.

On our way to search for campsites Maggie and I stopped at Miss Lucille's Gossip Parlor in Santa Rosa, Florida. A small beach community that everyone seems to know about except me. Miss Lucille's is a coffee house that serves anything in coffee you would want.It was French Vanilla Cappuccino for me. We ended up staying at the Days Inn in Crestview, Florida. Not all was lost though, the Sushi Bar next door had two retired Naval Officers telling me how to camp free from Tijuana, Mexico to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. They said I had to worry more for wild packs of dogs running free then bandits. I don't know about that.

I wish I could have stayed longer at Falling Waters State Park, but I didn't make reservations and they were all booked for the weekend. The last night we were there Maggie was in a fight with something outside the tent. It sounded like another cat, I hope thats what it was.

After the week I spent in Port Orange, Florida I have now journied to Chipley,Florida where Maggie and I are camping at Falling Waters State Park. Pics to come soon.

A Week To Go
